In the company’s own words
Acrivon Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACRV) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering and developing precision oncology medicines utilizing its proprietary Generative Phosphoproteomics Acrivon Predictive Precision Proteomics platform, known as AP3. The company's website is www.acrivon.com.
The AP3 platform is engineered to measure compound-specific effects on tumor cell protein signaling networks in an unbiased manner, generating terabytes of proprietary data to deliver actionable insights for drug discovery and development. Unlike traditional genomic-based precision medicine approaches that address only approximately nine percent of cancer patients with easily identifiable genetic mutations, Acrivon's proteomics-based approach is designed to be applicable across the vast majority of solid tumors by directly measuring disease-driving protein mechanisms independent of underlying genetic alterations.
Acrivon's pipeline includes ACR-368, also known as prexasertib, a selective CHK1/CHK2 inhibitor in-licensed from Eli Lilly that targets DNA damage response pathways. The company is conducting a Phase 2b registrational trial focusing on endometrial cancer patients, with interim data demonstrating a confirmed overall response rate of thirty-nine percent in biomarker-positive patients and fifty-two percent in serous endometrial cancer patients with limited prior treatment. The company is also developing ACR-2316, an internally discovered dual WEE1/PKMYT1 inhibitor currently in Phase 1 clinical trials, which has demonstrated clinical activity in endometrial cancer, small cell lung cancer, and squamous non-small cell lung cancer. Additionally, Acrivon is advancing ACR-6840, an internally discovered CDK11 inhibitor targeting acute myeloid leukemia, with planned IND filing in the fourth quarter of 2026.
A key component of Acrivon's precision medicine approach is its OncoSignature companion diagnostic tests, which are drug-tailored, automated quantitative proteomic tissue imaging tests applied to pretreatment tumor biopsies to predict patient treatment benefit. The company recently completed certification of an in-house Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment laboratory to perform OncoSignature and other clinical testing.
Founded in 2018, Acrivon was established by pioneers in oncogenic signaling and proteomics technology. The company maintains research operations in Sweden and clinical development operations in the United States and Europe.
