Founded in 2013, AEye develops and commercializes proprietary Intelligent Sensing Platform technology that combines software-defined sensing with adaptive perception capabilities enabling machines to interpret and respond to complex physical environments in real time.
The company's core technology leverages a bistatic architecture with physically separated transmit and receive paths, employing 1550-nanometer fiber lasers and custom high-resonance micro-electro-mechanical systems for agile scanning. This architecture enables long-range detection, high resolution imaging, and software-definable configurability without requiring hardware changes. The platform incorporates deterministic artificial intelligence at the edge to process data directly on the system-on-a-chip, reducing system-level compute load and latency.
