The company focuses on developing innovative medicines in neuroscience, addressing unmet needs in neurological and psychiatric disorders.
The company's marketed product portfolio includes ARISTADA and ARISTADA INITIO for schizophrenia treatment, LYBALVI for schizophrenia and bipolar I disorder, VIVITROL for alcohol and opioid dependence, and LUMRYZ for narcolepsy. LUMRYZ was acquired through the completion of the Avadel Acquisition in February 2026, which added both a proprietary commercial product and an experienced commercial organization to Alkermes' operations.
