The company manufactures and markets chemical, biological, and biorational products for agricultural, commercial, and consumer uses. Its product portfolio includes insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, soil health solutions, plant nutrition products, molluscicides, growth regulators, soil fumigants, and biorationals, offered in liquid, powder, and granular forms. The company has developed a leadership position in closed delivery systems through offerings including SmartBox Plus, Lock 'n Load, and EZ Load systems.
American Vanguard operates as a single reportable segment with one primary business line. International sales represented 39.5 percent of net sales in 2025, with the company selling products in 41 countries across Central and South America, Australia, New Zealand, and India.
