What Array Technologies, Inc. does
In the company’s own words
Array Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARRY) operates as a leading global provider of solar tracking technology and fixed-tilt systems serving utility-scale and distributed generation customers. The company's website is www.arraytechinc.com.
Array designs, manufactures, and sells integrated solar tracking systems comprised of software and hardware components that optimize energy production throughout the lifecycle of solar photovoltaic projects. The company's flagship product, the DuraTrack HZ v3 tracker, uses patented single-axis technology that allows one motor to drive multiple rows of solar panels through articulated driveline joints, resulting in lower assembly costs and reduced maintenance requirements compared to competitor designs. The company's core U.S. patent on its linked-row, rotating gear drive system remains valid through February 2030.
The company operates through multiple product lines including the Array STI H250 dual-row tracker acquired through the 2022 acquisition of STI, the OmniTrack system designed for uneven terrain, and the SkyLink grid-independent tracker. Array also offers Array SmarTrack software solutions that optimize energy capture and mitigate extreme weather risks through real-time weather data integration and automated response algorithms. Following the August 2025 acquisition of APA Solar, the company expanded its portfolio to include comprehensive foundation solutions and racking systems for utility-scale projects.
Array maintains manufacturing and assembly operations across multiple continents, including an approximately 283,000 square foot facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a new 176,000 square foot facility in Bernalillo County, New Mexico expected to commence production in the first half of 2026, and international operations in Spain and Brazil. The company employs approximately 1,200 full-time employees, with roughly 66 percent located in the United States and 34 percent distributed internationally across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and Africa.
As of December 31, 2025, Array had shipped more than 96 gigawatts of trackers globally. During the year ended December 31, 2025, the company derived 81 percent of revenues from United States customers and 19 percent from international markets. The company sells to solar developers, independent power producers, utilities, and engineering, procurement, and construction firms through master supply agreements and multi-year procurement contracts.
