What Bimergen Energy Corp does
In the company’s own words
Bimergen Energy Corporation (OTC Markets: BESS) is a renewable energy project developer dedicated to enabling the clean energy transition and providing critical grid stability through utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and solar development projects. The company operates as a development-stage enterprise with no current commercial operations or revenue generation as of December 31, 2025.
Following its April 2024 acquisition of Emergen Energy LLC, Bimergen owns a portfolio of approximately 3.6 gigawatts of alternating current power capacity across strategically selected regions served by major Independent System Operators including ERCOT, WECC, PJM, and MISO. The Development Projects portfolio comprises 23 utility-scale BESS projects with an estimated cumulative storage capacity of 1.965 gigawatts and 13 solar energy projects with anticipated cumulative generation capacity of 1.640 gigawatts. The company's most advanced projects, Redbird and Wildfire, are positioned to proceed to financing and construction phases.
Bimergen's core business model centers on developing and operating BESS projects designed to address energy imbalances in markets with substantial renewable energy generation. The company plans to generate revenue through tolling agreements with institutional energy traders and offtakers, which typically include guaranteed floor payments and upside profit sharing mechanisms. These arrangements allow the company to store excess energy during low-demand periods and dispatch it during peak demand, capturing value through energy arbitrage while providing essential grid services including frequency regulation, voltage support, and emergency backup capabilities.
The company maintains strategic relationships with tier-one battery suppliers, utilities, and power purchasers to optimize transmission efficiency and secure multi-year customer contracts prior to project construction. One battery supplier, RelyEZ, has committed up to fifty million dollars to a joint venture to support project development. Bimergen's development strategy involves advancing projects through feasibility studies, securing grid interconnection agreements, obtaining necessary permits, and establishing site control before entering binding contracts contingent on project-specific financing. The company anticipates an eight to nine-year development timeline for its current project pipeline and plans to fund expansion through a combination of available cash, public offerings, project-level funding arrangements, tax equity financing, and long-term debt financing.
