What Binah Capital Group, Inc. does

In the company’s own words

Binah Capital Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: BNHC) operates as a leading platform provider for retail wealth management businesses through its subsidiary Binah Management Services. The company's website is www.binahcap.com. Founded in March 2016 and consummated through a business combination in March 2024, Binah owns and operates ten financial services entities, including four broker-dealers, three registered investment advisors, and three insurance entities with over 1,600 registered individuals working across the financial services industry.

The company serves financial advisors through three distinct business models designed to accommodate different operating preferences. The hybrid business model, operated through the Purshe Kaplan Sterling entities, allows independent registered representatives to maintain dual registration with the broker-dealer for commission-based products while operating their own registered investment advisor for fee-based asset management services. The independent business model, operated through Cabot Lodge Securities and World Equity Group, enables independent broker-dealers to affiliate as independent contractors offering both commission-based and fee-based services. The W2 business model allows broker-dealers to affiliate as employees with company-provided support and expense coverage.

Binah's platform provides comprehensive support services including stock, bond, exchange-traded fund, and options execution; insurance products; mutual funds; alternative investments such as non-traded real estate investment trusts; and research, compliance, supervision, and accounting services. The company maintains relationships with major clearing and custodial firms, offering advisors flexibility in custody and clearing arrangements.

The company employs approximately 150 employees as of December 31, 2025, with operations spanning multiple states. Binah competes in the highly competitive wealth management industry against traditional wirehouses, investment advisers, brokerage firms, and financial institutions, many with substantially greater resources. The company differentiates itself through its flexible operating models, technology-enabled capabilities, open architecture offering diverse product solutions, and highly attractive financial model emphasizing organic growth, recurring revenues, and expanding margins. Growth strategy focuses on expanding the existing advisor network, pipeline acquisitions, and consolidating firms onto the existing platform while leveraging management relationships and brand recognition.
