The Heavy Fabrications segment manufactures large, complex steel towers and repowering adapters primarily for wind turbine manufacturers, along with proprietary pressure reducing systems for the compressed natural gas virtual pipeline market. The Gearing segment produces gearboxes, loose gearing, precision machined components, and gearbox repair services for customers across power generation, oil and gas, mining, material handling, wind energy, steel production, infrastructure, marine, and defense markets. The Industrial Solutions segment provides supply chain solutions, kitting and assembly services, inventory management, and packaging solutions, primarily serving the combined cycle natural gas turbine market and wind power generation sector.
As of December 31, 2025, Broadwind employed 341 U.S.-based workers across its manufacturing and administrative functions, with approximately 20 percent of employees covered by collective bargaining agreements. The company operates manufacturing facilities in Abilene, Texas; Cicero, Illinois; and Neville Island, Pennsylvania. In 2025, the company's top five customers represented 80 percent of total sales, with wind energy representing 51 percent of total revenues.
