Capital Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBAK) operates as a bank holding company headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, providing comprehensive financial services through its wholly-owned subsidiary Capital Bank, N.A., a national bank chartered in 1999. The company maintains a website at www.capitalbankmd.com.

The company operates four primary divisions: Commercial Banking, OpenSky™, Windsor Advantage™, and Capital Bank Home Loans. The Commercial Banking division serves businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and entrepreneurs across a geographic corridor extending from Raleigh, North Carolina to Delaware, with significant concentration in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore metropolitan areas. This division provides commercial and industrial lending, commercial real estate financing, construction lending, and lender finance loans. The division also maintains specialized lending verticals including government-guaranteed SBA and USDA lending conducted nationwide, and operates national deposit verticals serving homeowners associations, title companies, political action committees, and not-for-profit organizations.

OpenSky™ operates a nationwide digital platform providing secured, partially-secured, and unsecured credit cards targeting under-banked populations and individuals rebuilding credit scores. The division serves customers entirely through web-based and mobile applications. Capital Bank Home Loans originates conventional and government-guaranteed residential mortgage loans on a nationwide basis, with approximately 78.5 percent of originations by volume occurring within Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Washington, D.C.

Windsor Advantage™, acquired through the October 2024 acquisition of Integrated Financial Holdings, Inc., generates fee-based revenue by providing outsourced SBA and USDA lending platforms to community banks and credit unions. As of December 31, 2025, Windsor Advantage™ maintained a servicing portfolio of $3.1 billion.

The company operates through seven full-service banking locations, three loan production offices, three government loan servicing offices, and one credit card operations office. As of December 31, 2025, Capital Bancorp employed 459 persons, of which 434 were full-time employees. The company has been recognized as a Best Bank to Work For by American Banker for six of the past seven years and received an "outstanding" Community Reinvestment Act rating in April 2024.
