What Celldex Therapeutics, Inc. does

In the company’s own words

Celldex Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLDX) is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to exploring mast cell biology and developing therapeutic antibodies designed to engage the human immune system and address critical pathways in severe inflammatory, allergic, autoimmune, and other devastating diseases. The company's website is www.celldex.com.

The company's primary focus centers on barzolvolimab, also referred to as CDX-0159, a monoclonal antibody that specifically binds the KIT receptor and potently inhibits its activity. Barzolvolimab is currently being studied across multiple mast cell-driven diseases. In chronic spontaneous urticaria, the company completed Phase 2 studies demonstrating statistically significant efficacy and initiated two Phase 3 trials with enrollment completed in February 2026, with topline data expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. The company also initiated Phase 3 studies in cold urticaria and symptomatic dermographism in December 2025. Additionally, barzolvolimab is being evaluated in Phase 2 studies for prurigo nodolaris, with enrollment completed in December 2025 and topline data expected in summer 2026, and atopic dermatitis, with enrollment completed in January 2026 and topline data expected in late 2026.

Beyond barzolvolimab, Celldex is developing a next-generation bispecific antibody platform to support pipeline expansion. CDX-622, the company's first bispecific candidate, targets thymic stromal lymphopoietin and stem cell factor to address inflammatory diseases. A Phase 1a dose-escalation study in healthy volunteers was completed in January 2026, with positive data from the single ascending dose portion presented in October 2025. The company initiated a Phase 1 proof-of-mechanism study in adults with mild to moderate asthma in January 2026.

Celldex operates as a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company with no commercial revenues from drug candidate sales. The company has a history of operating losses and is focused on completing research and development activities, including preclinical and clinical studies, to advance its therapeutic candidates toward regulatory approval and potential commercialization. The company's strategy includes retaining full economic rights to innovative therapies or pursuing favorable partnerships to maximize overall portfolio value.
