In the company’s own words
Cheniere Energy, Inc. (NYSE: LNG) is an energy infrastructure company focused on producing, exporting and marketing liquefied natural gas (LNG) for integrated energy companies, utilities and energy trading companies worldwide. It owns and operates liquefaction and export facilities at Sabine Pass, Louisiana, and Corpus Christi, Texas, with associated natural gas supply pipelines, storage tanks and marine berths; its Sabine Pass terminal also provides regasification services. Cheniere sells most production through long-term sale and purchase and integrated production marketing agreements, while its marketing function sells uncontracted volumes through spot and other short-term agreements. The company’s operations are organized around the Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi liquefaction projects and LNG marketing, rather than reportable segments. At December 31, 2025, its facilities had more than 60 million tonnes per annum of total expected LNG production capacity, including capacity under construction. Cheniere shipped its first cargo in 2016, and its LNG has reached more than 40 countries and regions. Its website is www.cheniere.com.
