The company is headquartered in Cranford, New Jersey and operates as a majority-owned subsidiary of Citius Pharmaceuticals, Inc., following a reverse merger completed in August 2024 that established Citius Oncology as a standalone publicly-traded entity.
The company's lead product is LYMPHIR (denileukin diftitox-cdxl), an engineered IL-2 diphtheria toxin fusion protein approved by the FDA in August 2024 for treating patients with persistent or recurrent cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), a rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. LYMPHIR was launched commercially in December 2025. The product represents an improved formulation of the previously approved drug ONTAK, with a differentiated mechanism of action that both kills tumor cells and depletes immunosuppressive regulatory T lymphocytes to enhance antitumor activity.
