What Climb Bio, Inc. does

In the company’s own words

Clym Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLYM) is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing potential best-in-class therapeutics for patients with immune-mediated diseases. The company focuses on building a pipeline through strategic acquisition and in-licensing of product candidates with clear biological rationale, well-defined development pathways, and potential to address multiple indications. More information about the company is available at www.clymtherapeutics.com.

The company's lead product candidate, budoprutug, is a clinical-stage anti-CD19 monoclonal antibody designed to deplete CD19-positive B cells. Budoprutug targets CD19 expression across multiple B-cell lineages, potentially enabling broader and more durable depletion of pathogenic B cells compared to existing therapies. The company has focused initial development of budoprutug on three indications: primary membranous nephropathy, immune thrombocytopenia, and systemic lupus erythematosus. The company received FDA clearance for a Phase 2 clinical trial in primary membranous nephropathy in March 2025 and achieved first-patient-in in November 2025. Additionally, budoprutug has received FDA clearance for Phase 1b/2a and Phase 1b clinical trials in immune thrombocytopenia and systemic lupus erythematosus, respectively. The company is also advancing a high-concentration subcutaneous formulation of budoprutug to provide differentiated convenience and potential commercial advantages.

The company's second product candidate, CLYM116, is a next-generation anti-APRIL monoclonal antibody for treating IgA nephropathy and other B-cell mediated diseases. CLYM116 employs a unique mechanism that prevents APRIL signaling through potent blocking and lysosomal degradation. The company obtained rights to CLYM116 through a license agreement with Beijing Mabworks Biotech Co., Ltd. and has worldwide development and commercialization rights outside Greater China. CLYM116 initiated a Phase 1 clinical trial in healthy volunteers in November 2025.

The company estimates more than 500,000 patients in the United States across its four initial target indications and approximately 2.0 million people living with immune-mediated diseases that its product candidates could potentially benefit. The company acquired Tenet Medicines, Inc. to build its pipeline and continues to evaluate external opportunities aligned with its strategy in immune-mediated diseases and nephrology.
