Founded in 1875, Columbus McKinnon operates across a $35 billion total addressable market, providing highly engineered products that move, lift, position and secure materials for mission-critical applications across diverse industries. The company serves manufacturing, transportation including electric vehicle production, aerospace, energy and utilities, process industries, industrial automation, construction and infrastructure, food and beverage, entertainment, life sciences, consumer packaged goods, and e-commerce and supply chain sectors.
The company's product portfolio spans five primary platforms. Lifting and securement consumables include alloy and carbon steel chain, forged attachments such as hooks and shackles, digital load cells and crane camera systems. Installed lifting solutions encompass manual and powered hoists, winches and lifting tables under brands including Harrington, Kito, CM, Little Mule, Pfaff, Shaw-Box, STAHL and Yale. Precision conveyance systems offer advanced conveyor solutions for manufacturing and production environments. Digital power control and delivery systems, marketed under the Magnetek brand, provide AC and DC drive systems and motion control solutions. Linear motion products include actuators, screw jacks and lifting columns. The company also manufactures industrial cranes and elevator application drive systems.

Hoists represented 48 percent of sales, lifting and securement hardware 13 percent, high-precision conveying systems 12 percent, digital power control systems 10 percent, and actuators and rotary unions 9 percent.

Kito Crosby, formed through the 2023 combination of KITO CORPORATION and The Crosby Group, brings 250 years of combined industry experience and operates under iconic brands including Kito, Crosby, Harrington, Gunnebo Industries and Peerless.
