Community National Bank traces its origins to 1851 when it was organized as the Peoples Bank, subsequently reorganizing as the National Bank of Derby Line in 1865. The bank maintained continuous operations under that name for 110 years before acquiring Island Pond National Bank in 1975 and adopting its current name. A significant milestone occurred in 2007 when the company completed its acquisition of LyndonBank, expanding its branch network across northeastern and central Vermont into additional counties and establishing loan production offices in Chittenden County, Vermont and Grafton County, New Hampshire.
The company operates through a network of twelve full-service banking offices across northern and central Vermont, supplemented by loan production offices in Chittenden County, Vermont and Grafton County, New Hampshire.
