In the company’s own words
Corbus Pharmaceuticals Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRBP) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative therapies in oncology and obesity. The company is committed to bringing scientific approaches to well-understood biological pathways to help patients defeat serious illness.
The company's primary pipeline consists of two lead candidates. CRB-701 is a next-generation antibody drug conjugate targeting Nectin-4 expression on cancer cells, designed to deliver a cytotoxic payload of monomethyl auristatin E. Licensed from CSPC Megalith Biopharmaceutical Co. Ltd. in February 2023, CRB-701 is being evaluated in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial in the United States and Europe for advanced solid tumors including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, cervical cancer, and metastatic urothelial cancer. The drug has received fast track designation from the FDA for relapsed or refractory metastatic cervical cancer and recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. CRB-913 is a highly peripherally restricted oral small molecule CB1 receptor inverse agonist for obesity treatment, representing a distinct mechanism of action from GLP-1 therapies. The company completed a Phase 1a study in December 2025 and initiated a Phase 1b dose-range finding study in December 2025.
Corbus also maintains CRB-601, an anti-αvβ8 integrin monoclonal antibody for solid tumors, though the company has deprioritized this program. The company incurred research and development expenses of $70.1 million in 2025 compared to $32.2 million in 2024, reflecting increased investment in clinical development activities.
The company does not operate manufacturing facilities and relies on third-party contract manufacturing organizations and licensing partners for drug supply. Corbus maintains intellectual property protection through licensed patents and proprietary technology platforms, with patent protections for its candidates extending through 2042 to 2046 depending on the program.
