The company manufactures metal cans and ends in aluminum and steel for beverage, food, and aerosol industries, alongside a comprehensive range of transit packaging products and solutions derived from steel, paper, and plastic substrates. Crown's transit packaging offerings include automation and equipment technologies, protective packaging solutions, and consumables sold across metals, food and beverage, construction, agricultural, corrugated, and general industries.
As of December 31, 2025, Crown operated 179 manufacturing plants and maintained approximately 23,000 employees globally. The company generated consolidated net sales of $12.4 billion in 2025, with 61 percent derived from international operations outside the United States.
Crown's business is organized into four reportable segments.
