What Cytek Biosciences, Inc. does

In the company’s own words

Cytek Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTKB) is a leading cell analysis solutions company that develops and commercializes innovative instruments, software, reagents and services for single-cell analysis. The company's website is www.cytekbio.com.

The company's core technology platform is Full Spectrum Profiling (FSP), a patented approach that leverages the full spectrum of fluorescence signatures from multiple lasers to distinguish fluorescent tags on individual cells. This technology enables researchers to perform high-dimensional cell analysis with exceptional sensitivity and resolution, supporting up to 50 biomarkers in a single sample tube. The FSP platform addresses fundamental limitations of conventional flow cytometry by delivering higher multiplexing capability, improved sensitivity, greater flexibility and lower cost per performance.

Cytek's primary product portfolio includes the Cytek Aurora, Northern Lights and Cytek Aurora Evo cell analyzer systems, which are used extensively in pharmaceutical research, academic institutions and contract research organizations. The company also offers the Aurora CS cell sorter, which combines FSP technology with cell isolation capabilities for downstream genomic and proteomic analysis. Additionally, through acquisitions completed in 2021 and 2023, Cytek offers complementary imaging flow cytometry instruments under the Amnis brand and conventional flow cytometry systems under the Guava brand, including the Muse and easyCyte product lines.

The company supports its instruments with proprietary SpectroFlo software, a comprehensive suite of bioinformatics tools including Cytek Cloud, a digital ecosystem for panel design and data acquisition, and a growing portfolio of fluorochrome-conjugated antibody reagents marketed under the Cytek, Tonbo and Amnis brands. Cytek operates manufacturing facilities in Fremont and San Diego, California; Seattle, Washington; Wuxi, China; and Singapore, with a global commercial team serving customers across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and other regions.

As of December 31, 2025, Cytek employed over 700 people across its multidisciplinary workforce. The company generated revenue of $201.5 million in fiscal 2025 and maintains a strong cash position of $261.5 million. The Northern Lights-CLC system has achieved regulatory approval for clinical use in the European Union and China, positioning the company to expand into clinical research applications including minimal residual disease testing and personalized medicine diagnostics.
