What Digital Turbine, Inc. does
In the company’s own words
Digital Turbine, Inc. (NASDAQ: DTIL) operates as a leading independent mobile growth platform serving advertisers, publishers, carriers, and device original equipment manufacturers through its website at digitalturbine.com. The company enables brand discovery and advertising, user acquisition and engagement, and operational efficiency across the mobile application ecosystem.
The company operates through two primary reportable segments. The On Device Solutions segment delivers applications and content media to end users through partnerships with wireless carriers and OEMs, optimizing revenue through proprietary technology that manages app install demand from application developers. This segment includes Application Media, which streamlines app delivery; Content Media, which presents news, weather, sports, and other content through native device experiences and monetizes through programmatic advertising, sponsored content, and editorial content; and user acquisition tools including SingleTap and the company's demand-side platform.
The App Growth Platform segment comprises Advertising Solutions and Ad Monetization Solutions. Advertising Solutions serve app developers and brands executing targeted mobile campaigns on the company's direct mobile app inventory, while Ad Monetization Solutions allow mobile app publishers and developers to monetize their users through display, native, and video advertising integrated with leading mobile apps and games.
As of March 31, 2026, Digital Turbine employed 620 full-time employees globally, distributed across North America with 281 employees, Europe and the Middle East with 282 employees, Asia Pacific with 51 employees, and Latin America with 6 employees. The company maintains a global operational footprint with offices in the United States, China, Germany, Israel, India, Poland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom, serving customers worldwide.
Digital Turbine's intellectual property portfolio includes patents, trademarks, and proprietary technology developed in-house. The company's competitive position rests on its ability to enhance technologies, maintain relationships with key ecosystem participants, reach and target large user populations, and successfully monetize mobile applications. The company's revenue model involves both exclusive and non-exclusive agreements with wireless carriers and OEMs, typically structured as multi-year arrangements with revenue-sharing components, alongside contracts with advertisers and publishers generally offering shorter-term, flexible engagement terms.
