The company maintains its headquarters in Houston, Texas and can be found at www.dnow.com. Following the completion of its acquisition of MRC Global on November 6, 2025, DNOW has significantly expanded its scale and capabilities in the global distribution sector.
The company functions as a leading distributor of pipe, valves and fittings (PVF), pumps, and fabricated process and production equipment. DNOW serves a diverse customer base across upstream oil and gas exploration and production, midstream transmission and gathering infrastructure, gas utilities, downstream refining and petrochemical processing, and industrial end-markets including data centers, mining, water treatment, and renewable energy facilities. The company also provides comprehensive supply chain solutions including inventory management, warehouse operations, procurement services, and integrated logistics support.
DNOW operates through three reportable segments: United States, Canada, and International. The U.S. segment comprises approximately 210 locations strategically positioned to serve energy and industrial markets. The Canada segment operates roughly 35 locations primarily in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, supporting energy and drilling businesses. The International segment maintains approximately 55 locations across major oil and gas development regions in the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the Middle East, with export capabilities to additional regions.
As of December 31, 2025, the company employed approximately 5,300 people operating from a strategic network of approximately 300 locations worldwide. The company distributes products from thousands of global suppliers and maintains proprietary digital commerce platforms including DigitalNOW® and MRCGO™, which enable customers to manage procurement, track orders, and access technical support. DNOW's product portfolio encompasses valves, automation equipment, measurement instrumentation, carbon and specialty pipe, gas distribution products, pumps, fabricated equipment, fittings, flanges, and general industrial supplies. The company also manufactures specialized equipment including LACT units, separators, and vapor recovery systems under the EcoVaporTM brand, which help customers reduce greenhouse gas emissions and manage produced water disposal.
