What Envela Corp does

In the company’s own words

Envela Corporation (NYSE American and NYSE Texas: ELA) operates as a leading provider of recommerce and recycling services positioned at the forefront of the circular economy. The company's website is www.envela.com.

The company comprises two primary reportable segments: consumer and commercial. The consumer segment focuses on buying and selling authenticated luxury goods, including pre-owned and repurposed fine jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, luxury watches, and secondary-market bullion through multiple retail brands with roots tracing back to 1972. The commercial segment provides information technology asset disposition (ITAD), product returns services, and de-manufacturing of end-of-life electronic assets, with origins dating to 2007 and 2009 respectively. The commercial segment has experienced greater diversification toward fee-for-service relationships that strengthen margins.

Envela operates a brick-and-mortar retail footprint under brands including Four Nines and Bijoux Exchange, an in-store buying platform using a store-within-a-store concept. The company sources products domestically through in-store buying programs, trade-in programs, returns, buybacks, and closeouts. In fiscal 2025, the consumer segment sold 3.3 metric tons of refining-grade precious metals, while the commercial segment sold 921,480 individual units of secondary electronics and 9,158.5 metric tons of electronic scrap containing base and precious metals.

The company employed 276 persons as of fiscal 2025 and operates throughout the contiguous United States. Envela has established itself as a technology-enabled, compliance-driven business providing transparency throughout asset processing and disposition. The company maintains a long-standing commitment to sustainability by extending product lifespans, reducing reliance on extractive industries, and providing detailed asset disposition data to business partners addressing their sustainability goals.

Founded in 1965, Envela marked its diamond jubilee in fiscal 2025, celebrating 60 years of continuous operations. The company's business model emphasizes building long-lasting relationships rooted in trust and transparency while addressing sustainability and value-driven initiatives impacting both consumers and businesses.
