(NASDAQ: EPSN) is a North American onshore-focused independent natural gas and oil company engaged in the acquisition, development, gathering and production of natural gas and oil reserves. The company operates through two primary segments: Upstream activities involving exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas reserves, and a Gathering System segment with interest in natural gas gathering infrastructure.
As of December 31, 2025, Epsilon holds leasehold rights to approximately 101,265 gross acres (54,044 net acres) across multiple producing basins. The company's proved reserves total 86.4 billion cubic feet of natural gas, 9.3 million barrels of oil, and 2.4 million barrels of natural gas liquids. Production operations span the Appalachian Basin in Pennsylvania, the Powder River Basin in Wyoming, the Permian Basin in Texas and New Mexico, the Anadarko Basin in Oklahoma, and the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin in Alberta, Canada.
Pennsylvania operations represent the company's largest revenue contributor, generating approximately 67 percent of 2025 revenues through natural gas production and gathering system revenues. The company owns a 35 percent interest in the Auburn Gas Gathering System, a natural gas gathering and compression facility located in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, which processed 40.5 billion cubic feet of natural gas during 2025. The gathering system operates under a fixed-rate structure adjusted annually by the Consumer Price Index.
In November 2025, Epsilon completed the acquisition of Peak Exploration & Production LLC and related subsidiaries for total consideration of $88.5 million, adding operated and non-operated production and leasehold interests in the Powder River Basin in Wyoming and 17 full-time employees. This acquisition materially enhanced the company's geographic diversification and operational scale.
Epsilon maintains a workforce of 27 full-time employees across operations in Texas, Colorado, and Wyoming. The company's business model focuses on organic production growth and strategic acquisitions to build a diversified portfolio of oil and natural gas assets across multiple basins and commodity exposures.
