Eve is a leading developer of comprehensive UAM solutions encompassing three primary business pillars: the design and production of electric vertical take-off and landing vehicles, a portfolio of maintenance and support services called TechCare focused on eVTOLs from Eve and third-party manufacturers, and Vector, an Urban Air Traffic Management system designed to enable safe and efficient eVTOL operations in dense urban airspace alongside conventional aircraft and drones.
The company's eVTOL employs a lift plus cruise design featuring eight redundant rotors for vertical flight paired with a separate forward propulsion system and fixed wing for efficient cruising. The aircraft is designed to initially accommodate four passengers and a pilot, with expected capacity for up to six passengers without a pilot once autonomous capabilities are introduced. Eve's eVTOL completed significant development milestones including engineering simulations, subscale test flights, wind tunnel testing, full-scale ground tests, and full-scale engineering prototype flights beginning in December 2025.
Eve has established an initial order pipeline of approximately 2,700 vehicles valued at approximately $14 billion from 28 launch customers based on non-binding agreements. The customer base includes fixed-wing operators, helicopter operators, aircraft lessors, and ridesharing platforms. The company's partner network spans technology providers, renewable energy companies, vertiport operators, and financing partners globally.
As of December 31, 2025, Eve employed 198 full-time employees, including 55 engineers, supplemented by first-priority access to approximately 736 employees from strategic partner Embraer S.A. under master service agreements. Eve announced plans for its first eVTOL production facility in Taubaté, São Paulo, Brazil, with expected eventual capacity of up to 480 aircraft annually across modular production units.
