The title insurance and services segment represents the core of First American's business, accounting for 93.6 percent of consolidated revenues. This segment issues title insurance policies on residential and commercial property across 49 states, the District of Columbia, and certain U.S. territories, while also offering international operations in Canada, the United Kingdom, various European countries, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Beyond traditional title insurance, the segment provides closing and escrow services, document generation, appraisals, lien release services, warehouse lending, mortgage subservicing, and banking and wealth management services through a federal savings bank subsidiary. The company operates through both direct channels and an extensive network of independent agents. As of December 31, 2025, the bank administered fiduciary and custody assets valued at $5.6 billion and maintained $6.8 billion in total assets with $6.2 billion in deposits.
The home warranty segment sells residential service contracts covering heating, air conditioning systems, and appliances, operating in 36 states and the District of Columbia.
