The company maintains its website at www.thatsmybank.com and operates as a community banking institution serving individual and corporate customers throughout northern and central California.
The Bank was established in 1910 as Northern Solano Bank and merged with the First National Bank of Dixon in 1955 to form the foundation of the current organization. The company created its bank holding company structure in 2000 to enhance competitiveness in its marketplace. First Northern Bank of Dixon operates fourteen full-service branches located in Auburn, Colusa, Davis, Dixon, Fairfield, Orland, Rancho Cordova, Roseville, Sacramento, Vacaville, West Sacramento, Winters, Willows, and Woodland, with additional satellite banking offices and a residential mortgage loan office. The company also maintains an operations center in Dixon and an administrative office in Sacramento.
First Northern's primary business involves accepting deposits and making commercial, consumer, and real estate-related loans to small- and medium-sized businesses and individuals throughout Solano, Yolo, Placer, Sacramento, and portions of El Dorado County. Interest income comprises the principal revenue source, derived primarily from loans and leases at approximately seventy percent, investments at twenty-two percent, and due from banks accounts at six percent. The company provides supplementary services including safe deposit boxes, equipment leasing, credit cards, merchant card processing, and payroll services. Through Raymond James Financial Services, the company offers investment products and brokerage services from strategically located offices.
As of December 31, 2025, First Northern maintained consolidated assets of approximately 1.91 billion dollars with stockholders' equity of approximately 212 million dollars.
