What Fluent, Inc. does

In the company’s own words

Fluent, Inc. (Nasdaq: FLNT) is a commerce media solutions provider that connects top-tier brands with highly engaged consumers through performance-based customer acquisition services. The company operates at www.fluentco.com and maintains its principal executive offices in New York.

The company delivers customer acquisition services for approximately 400 consumer brands, direct marketers, and agencies across diverse industries including Media & Entertainment, Financial Products & Services, Health & Life Sciences, Retail & Consumer, and Staffing & Recruitment. Fluent operates through two primary business segments: Commerce Media Solutions and Owned and Operated digital media properties, or O&O Sites.

Commerce Media Solutions represents the company's growth engine, delivering targeted advertising within e-commerce and digital media transaction flows on partner sites and mobile apps. The platform embeds proprietary ad-serving technology to identify and acquire consumers at key moments in their purchasing journey, particularly through post-transaction solutions that connect advertisers to consumers immediately after purchase. This segment operates under exclusive long-term contracts with media partners including Authentic Brands Group, Rebuy, Vivid Seats, and Belk, with partners typically compensated on a revenue share or impression basis.

The O&O Sites segment attracts consumers through promotional offerings and rewards programs, with over 90 percent of users accessing media through mobile devices. Upon registration, consumers provide demographic information and opt-in consent for direct marketing, creating a proprietary database of first-party, self-declared user information that Fluent leverages to serve targeted advertisements and provide client contact data.

Fluent also operates AdParlor, a non-core subsidiary offering managed creator marketing and media buying services across social media platforms. The company previously operated Call Solutions, a call center-supported performance marketplace, which was sold on January 31, 2026.

As of December 31, 2025, Fluent employed 186 full-time employees. The company generates revenue primarily through performance-based compensation models including per-click, per-lead, and per-action arrangements aligned with client customer acquisition cost targets. Fluent differentiates itself through proprietary technology platforms purpose-built for performance marketing, a substantial database of first-party consumer data, and extensive experience deploying over two billion dollars in media spend since inception.
