L.B. Foster Company (NASDAQ: FOSTB) is a global technology solutions provider of engineered, manufactured products and services that builds and supports infrastructure. Founded in 1902 and headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the company maintains operations across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. The company's website is www.lbfoster.com.

L.B. Foster operates through two primary reportable segments. The Rail, Technologies, and Services segment, which represented 57 percent of net sales, comprises three business units: Rail Products, Global Friction Management, and Technology Services and Solutions. The Rail Products business unit includes Rail Distribution, which sells new rail and accessories to passenger and short line freight railroads; Allegheny Rail Products, which manufactures insulated rail joints; and Transit Products, which supplies fasteners and third rail for passenger railroad systems. Global Friction Management engineers and manufactures friction management products and application systems that optimize performance at the rail-to-wheel interface. Technology Services and Solutions designs and manufactures Total Track Monitoring railroad condition monitoring systems and provides controls, displays, and digital signage solutions for transit and control room applications.

The Infrastructure Solutions segment, representing 43 percent of net sales, comprises two business units. Precast Concrete Products manufactures precast concrete buildings and products under the CXT brand, including restrooms, concession stands, sound walls, and bridge beams across ten facilities in North America. Steel Products provides custom engineered solutions including fabricated steel bridge products, water well pipe threading and coating services, and protective pipeline coatings for oil and gas transmission applications.

As of December 31, 2025, the company employed 1,191 people, including 974 in the United States, 44 in Canada, 166 in Europe, and 7 in other locations. The workforce comprises 641 hourly production workers and 550 salaried employees. International sales represented approximately 11 percent of total company sales. The company owns numerous domestic and international patents and trademarks, particularly related to friction management, technology solutions, and precast concrete products. All employees are covered by either defined benefit or defined contribution plans.
