Harte Hanks traces its origins to a newspaper business founded by Houston Harte and Bernard Hanks in Texas in the early 1920s. The company went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 1972, became private through a leveraged buyout in 1984, returned to public markets in 1993, and currently trades on the Nasdaq Global Market as of December 2021.
The company operates three primary business units spanning the end-to-end customer and product lifecycle.
