The Residential segment comprises 38.7 percent of revenues and provides electrical installation services for single-family housing and multi-family apartment complexes, along with HVAC and plumbing services in certain markets through 99 locations across the Sun-Belt, Western, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Northeastern regions. The Infrastructure Solutions segment accounts for 14.8 percent of revenues and delivers electro-mechanical solutions for industrial operations including custom-engineered generator enclosures, power distribution equipment, and apparatus repair services from 15 locations. The Commercial & Industrial segment represents 12.7 percent of revenues and provides electrical and mechanical design, construction and maintenance services to commercial and industrial markets from 17 locations.
For fiscal year 2025, the company generated total consolidated revenues of $3.37 billion and employed 10,283 full-time and part-time employees across 174 domestic locations. The company maintains a diverse customer base with no single customer accounting for more than ten percent of consolidated revenues, though one Residential segment customer represented 12.0 percent of revenues in prior years.
IES was established in 1997 and is headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas, with an executive office in Greenwich, Connecticut. The company pursues growth through increasing market share, geographic expansion, capability enhancement, and strategic acquisitions of complementary businesses.
