In the company’s own words

Intellinetics, Inc. (OTCQB: INLX) is a document services and software solutions company serving small-to-medium businesses and governmental sectors with digital transformation and process automation initiatives. The company operates through two primary reporting segments: Software and Document Services.

The Software segment, which generated approximately 61% of revenues in 2025, provides cloud-based and on-premise document management solutions built on a Microsoft .NET framework. The flagship IntelliCloud suite includes modules for image processing, accounts payable lifecycle automation, records management, workflow automation, and extended components such as document composition and email archiving. The company also offers YellowFolder, a specialized content management solution designed for the K-12 education market. Software revenues increasingly derive from software-as-a-service delivery models hosted through Amazon Web Services and other U.S.-based data center providers, complemented by professional services including installation, integration, training, and ongoing customer support.

The Document Services segment, representing approximately 39% of revenues in 2025, provides digital scanning services, business process outsourcing, micrographics conversion, and physical document storage and retrieval services. This segment maintains a significant customer concentration with the State of Michigan, which represented 76% of segment revenues in 2025 under a contract extending through May 2030.

Intellinetics operates as a Nevada holding company with two wholly-owned subsidiaries: Intellinetics Ohio, incorporated in 1996, and Graphic Sciences, acquired in 2020. The company maintains a multi-channel sales model utilizing both direct sales and indirect channels through independent software vendors, resellers, and referral partners.

Government contracts, including K-12 education, represented approximately 78% of consolidated net revenues in 2025. The company competes in markets served by vendors including Stampli, DocuWare, Laserfiche, and Iron Mountain, positioning itself as a focused niche provider for regulated, compliance-intensive markets.
