Lake Shore Bank, originally chartered as a New York savings and loan association in 1891, provides a comprehensive range of banking products and services to retail and commercial customers throughout Erie and Chautauqua Counties in Western New York. The bank maintains ten branch offices across its primary market area, which encompasses the Buffalo metropolitan region and surrounding communities with a combined population of approximately 1.1 million residents.
The bank's principal business consists of attracting retail deposits and deploying those funds primarily through commercial real estate lending, one- to four-family residential mortgage lending, home equity lines of credit, and commercial business lending. As of December 31, 2025, the bank's gross loan portfolio totaled $557.3 million, with commercial real estate loans representing the largest segment at 58.8 percent of total loans. One- to four-family residential mortgage loans comprised 26.9 percent of the portfolio, home equity loans and lines of credit represented 8.4 percent, commercial business loans accounted for 3.1 percent, and consumer loans made up 2.8 percent.
