The company's core business centers on fruit production, sales and marketing, rental operations, and real estate development activities. Limoneira operates three primary business divisions: agribusiness, rental operations, and real estate development. The agribusiness division comprises four reportable segments including fresh lemons, lemon packing, avocados, and other agribusiness operations encompassing oranges, specialty citrus, wine grapes, and farm management services.
Limoneira manages approximately 10,500 acres of agricultural land across multiple regions. The company cultivates roughly 3,100 acres of lemons, 1,500 acres of avocados, 100 acres of oranges, and 400 acres of wine grapes.
