Mammoth Energy Services Inc. (NASDAQ: TUSK) is an integrated services company providing specialized products and services to the oil and natural gas, aviation, and utility infrastructure industries. The company operates through five reportable segments: rental services, infrastructure services, natural sand proppant services, accommodation services, and drilling services.
The rental services segment provides equipment used in drilling, flowback, and hydraulic fracturing operations, including cranes, light plants, and generators across West Texas, Eastern Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The aviation services division leases regional aircraft, helicopters, jet engines, and auxiliary power units to regional and cargo airlines. As of December 31, 2025, the company owned nine regional aircraft, two helicopters, five jet engines, and ten APUs.
The infrastructure services division offers engineering, design, construction, upgrade, maintenance, and repair services for fiber networks, primarily in the southwestern and midwestern United States. The natural sand proppant services segment mines and processes premium monocrystalline sand used in hydraulic fracturing operations, with primary operations in Jackson County, Wisconsin. The accommodation services business operates Sand Tiger Lodge in northern Alberta, Canada, providing housing and dining facilities for oilfield workers with a capacity of 764 rooms. The drilling services segment provides directional drilling services using mud motors and measurement-while-drilling technology across multiple basins including the Anadarko, Arkoma, Powder River, and Permian basins.
The company serves approximately 142 customers, with the top five customers accounting for approximately 55 percent of revenue. Mammoth maintains strategic geographic positioning across major unconventional resource plays including the Utica Shale, Marcellus Shale, SCOOP/STACK, and oil sands operations.
