Nabors Industries Ltd. (NYSE: NBR) is a global provider of drilling and drilling-related services for land-based and offshore oil and natural gas wells. The company operates one of the world's largest land-based drilling rig fleets alongside offshore platform rigs across more than 20 countries. Nabors' website is www.nabors.com.
The company operates through four reportable segments: U.S. Drilling, International Drilling, Drilling Solutions, and Rig Technologies. U.S. Drilling operates 121 land rigs and 13 offshore platform rigs primarily across major hydrocarbon basins in the Lower 48 and Alaska, as well as the Gulf of America. International Drilling maintains 121 land-based rigs and 14 offshore platform rigs, with significant operations in the Middle East and Latin America, particularly in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico. Drilling Solutions offers specialized technologies including directional steering systems, rig instrumentation software, tubular running services, and managed pressure drilling services. Rig Technologies, primarily comprised of Canrig, manufactures advanced rig components such as top drives, catwalks, and drawworks for both onshore and offshore applications.
Saudi Aramco is Nabors' largest customer, accounting for approximately 30 percent of consolidated operating revenues in 2025, primarily through the SANAD joint venture. The company's three largest customers collectively represented 41 percent of revenues in 2025. Nabors employed approximately 13,900 employees worldwide as of December 31, 2025, with roughly 9,800 located outside the United States. The workforce represented 92 nationalities.
