The National Bank of Blacksburg, originally chartered in 1891 and converted to a national charter in 1922, serves as the cornerstone of the organization's operations. The bank operates 28 banking locations across southwest, western and central Virginia, including a newly opened branch in Roanoke and a loan production office in Charlottesville. The bank maintains 26 automated teller machines throughout its service area and offers comprehensive digital banking capabilities including telephone, mobile, and internet banking services.
