NewMarket Corporation (NYSE: NEU) is a holding company whose subsidiaries produce and market specialty chemicals and materials. Its petroleum additives segment, primarily represented by Afton Chemical, develops, manufactures, and sells lubricant and fuel additive components and formulated packages worldwide to oil companies, lubricant blenders, refiners, fuel marketers, and other fuel blenders. Its specialty materials segment, represented by AMPAC and Calca, produces perchlorates and hydrazine products for aerospace, defense, and space applications, serving government agencies, contractors, rocket motor manufacturers, and commercial aerospace customers. Ethyl, included in “All other” for its antiknock compounds business, markets antiknock compounds in North America and provides contracted manufacturing services to Afton and third parties. The company also manages real property through NewMarket Development and provides shared administrative services through NewMarket Services. NewMarket acquired Calca in October 2025. It employed approximately 2,050 people at the end of 2025. Its website is www.newmarket.com.
