The company operates through two primary segments: Water Transmission Systems, operating under the Northwest Pipe Company brand, and Precast Infrastructure and Engineered Systems, which includes the brands NWPX Geneva and NWPX Park. The Water Transmission Systems segment manufactures large-diameter, high-pressure steel pipeline systems for drinking water applications, hydroelectric power systems, wastewater systems, and industrial plant piping. Products include spiral welded pipe ranging from 24 inches to 156 inches in diameter, bar-wrapped concrete cylinder pipe, and the proprietary Permalok® steel casing pipe joining system. The Precast segment produces high-quality reinforced concrete pipe, manholes, box culverts, vaults, catch basins, pump lift stations, oil water separators, biofiltration units, and lined precast sanitary sewer system structures.
As of December 31, 2025, NWPX Infrastructure employed 1,318 full-time and part-time employees, with approximately 65 percent working as hourly production employees and 35 percent in administrative and management roles. The company operates 13 manufacturing facilities across North America, including seven steel pipe facilities in Oregon, California, West Virginia, Texas, Missouri, and Mexico, and six precast facilities in Texas and Utah.
