The company delivers a full range of deposit products, lending services, trust and wealth management offerings, and electronic banking solutions to retail, commercial, industrial, and public entity customers across its primary market area in northeastern Illinois and contiguous states. Old Second operates 55 banking centers located in Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will counties in Illinois, with additional loan production capabilities extending nationwide through specialized business lines.
The lending portfolio encompasses commercial real estate, residential real estate, general commercial loans, construction lending, equipment leases, consumer loans including powersport financing, and home equity lines of credit. As of December 31, 2025, the company's loan portfolio totaled approximately $5.2 billion, with commercial real estate representing 36.5 percent of total loans. The company originated approximately $1.36 billion in loans during 2025, excluding renewals, and originated $153.4 million in residential mortgage loans.
Deposit products include demand accounts, NOW accounts, money market accounts, savings accounts, and time deposits tailored to individual and business customers.
