With over twenty years of experience in the biogas-to-energy industry, OPAL designs, develops, constructs, owns and operates biogas conversion projects while also designing, developing, constructing and servicing fueling stations for natural gas vehicles across the United States.
The company's core business comprises two primary segments: capture and conversion of biogas into renewable natural gas and renewable power, and dispensing and monetization of renewable fuels and associated environmental attributes. OPAL generates revenue principally from the sale of environmental attributes including Renewable Identification Numbers, Low Carbon Fuel Standard credits, and Renewable Energy Certificates.
