What Paramount Gold Nevada Corp. does

In the company’s own words

Paramount Gold Nevada Corp. (NYSE American: PZG) is a precious metals exploration and development company engaged in acquiring, exploring, and developing gold and silver projects in the United States. The company operates through wholly owned subsidiaries including New Sleeper Gold LLC, Sleeper Mining Company LLC, and Calico Resources USA Corp. The company website is http://www.paramountnevada.com.

Paramount's material properties include the Sleeper Gold Project located in Humboldt County, Nevada, and the Grassy Mountain Project located in Malheur County, Oregon. The Grassy Mountain Project is the company's most advanced asset, having completed a feasibility study and currently in the permitting phase for both state and federal approvals to build and operate a mine. The Sleeper Gold Project represents the company's primary Nevada asset, though a feasibility study has not yet been completed for this property. Both properties are subject to extensive federal and state permitting requirements for exploration, development, and reclamation activities.

The company was formed in 1992 and became an independent publicly traded entity following its separation from Paramount Gold and Silver Corp. in April 2015, with shares distributed to PGSC stockholders. In July 2016, Paramount completed its acquisition of Calico Resources Corp., which brought the Grassy Mountain Project into the company's portfolio.

As of June 30, 2026, Paramount employed four full-time employees and two consultants. The company maintains a comprehensive compensation program including base salary, equity-based compensation, and cash bonuses designed to align employee interests with shareholder value. The company is responsible for reclamation obligations at its properties, including ongoing monitoring and reporting activities at the Sleeper Gold Mine site under direction of the Bureau of Land Management and Nevada State Department of Environmental Protection.

Paramount's business model focuses on enhancing project value through exploration and engineering programs designed to expand and upgrade mineral resources into reserves. The company pursues multiple pathways to realize project value, including selling projects to producers, joint venturing with other companies, or building and operating small mines independently. The company maintains a commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement as it advances its permitting and development efforts.
