The platform serves 619 million monthly active users globally, with particular resonance among women who comprise roughly two-thirds of the user base and Gen Z users who represent over fifty percent of users. The platform operates across mobile applications and web interfaces, allowing users to browse content called Pins, organize saved content onto virtual boards, search for specific ideas, and discover related visual content through recommendation systems.
