What PROCEPT BioRobotics Corp does

In the company’s own words

AQUA Surgical Robotics Inc. (NASDAQ: ASRS) is a surgical robotics company focused on developing and commercializing advanced robotic systems for minimally invasive urologic surgery. The company's website is www.aquasurgical.com.

The company develops, manufactures, and sells the AquaBeam Robotic System and the next-generation HYDROS Robotic System, both of which deliver Aquablation therapy, a proprietary image-guided robotic treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH. Aquablation therapy combines real-time multidimensional imaging, personalized treatment planning, automated robotics, and heat-free waterjet ablation to remove prostate tissue with precision and consistency. The systems are designed to deliver effective, safe, and durable outcomes independent of prostate size, shape, and surgeon experience.

BPH is the most common prostate disease, affecting approximately 40 million men in the United States. The company estimates its total addressable market opportunity at approximately $30 billion in the United States alone, with significant additional opportunity in international markets where BPH prevalence among men over 50 is similar to the United States.

As of December 31, 2025, the company had an installed base of 912 robotic systems globally, including 718 in the United States. The company generated revenue of $308.1 million for the year ended December 31, 2025, primarily from sales of robotic systems and single-use disposable handpieces. The company operates primarily through a direct sales organization in the United States targeting urologists and hospitals, with distribution partnerships in select international markets.

The company has developed a substantial clinical evidence base supporting Aquablation therapy, including nine clinical studies and over 150 peer-reviewed publications. Medicare coverage has been established in all 50 states, and the company estimates that approximately 95 percent of men in the United States have access to Aquablation therapy through commercial insurance coverage. The company is also investing in clinical research to support the use of Aquablation therapy for prostate cancer treatment through multiple investigational studies.
