What QUICKLOGIC Corp does

In the company’s own words

QuickLogic Corporation (Nasdaq Capital Market: QUIK) is a fabless semiconductor company that develops programmable logic technologies, including embedded Field Programmable Gate Array intellectual property and specialized FPGA devices. The company's website is www.quicklogic.com.

Founded in 1988 and reincorporated in Delaware in 1999, QuickLogic enables customers to incorporate programmable logic into custom semiconductor devices or deploy standalone programmable devices to implement system control, hardware acceleration, and configurable functions. The company's primary offerings include eFPGA IP licensing, discrete FPGA devices, development tools, and related software. Customers license QuickLogic's eFPGA IP to integrate programmable logic blocks into application-specific integrated circuits and system-on-chip devices, while discrete FPGA devices enable customers to implement custom hardware functionality in applications requiring flexibility and low power consumption.

QuickLogic's programmable logic technologies serve aerospace and defense, industrial and infrastructure systems, data processing and computing platforms, and embedded and edge computing applications. The company's current product portfolio includes eFPGA IP licensing with professional services, and FPGA silicon products including EOS, ArcticLink III, PolarPro 3, and Eclipse II, along with mature products and programming tools.

The company operates as a fabless semiconductor manufacturer, relying on third-party foundries including GlobalFoundries and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company for wafer fabrication, with packaging and assembly provided by partners including Amkor Technology and Integra Technologies. QuickLogic's eFPGA IP is developed across multiple semiconductor manufacturing process technologies ranging from 12 nanometers to 350 nanometers, with an automated IP generator tool called Australis enabling customized eFPGA architectures for customer integration.

As of December 28, 2025, QuickLogic employed fifty-one people worldwide, with forty-three located in the United States. The company maintains international sales operations in Japan and the United Kingdom. QuickLogic holds twenty-two active U.S. patents and five registered trademarks, with patents expiring between 2026 and 2042. The company's research and development activities focus on advancing programmable logic technologies and securing design engagements with semiconductor and system companies.
