What RUM Group Inc. does
In the company’s own words
Rumble Inc. (Nasdaq: RUM) operates as a freedom-focused video sharing and cloud infrastructure platform headquartered at rumble.com. The company was founded in 2013 with the mission of providing content creators with distribution tools and monetization opportunities, positioning itself as an alternative to incumbent social video platforms that the company believes employ sophisticated algorithmic censorship and preferencing practices.
The company operates two primary business segments: Rumble Services and Rumble Cloud. Rumble Services encompasses four core offerings including Rumble Video, a free and subscription-based video sharing platform accessible via desktop, mobile, and connected TV applications; Rumble Studio, a livestreaming and monetization service for creators; Rumble Advertising Center, a proprietary advertising marketplace and network; and Rumble Wallet, a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet supporting stablecoins and Bitcoin for direct creator payments. Rumble Cloud, launched in early 2024, provides infrastructure-as-a-service offerings including compute, storage, security, and networking solutions designed to serve startups, small and medium-sized businesses, governments, and enterprise clients.
The company generates revenue through multiple streams including advertising (banner, display, pre-roll, mid-roll, and creator sponsorships), subscriptions (Rumble Premium and Locals.com), pay-per-view content, and tipping mechanisms. As of the fourth quarter of 2025, Rumble reported 52 million monthly active users and an average revenue per user of $0.46.
Rumble employs 156 full-time employees as of December 31, 2025, with 48 based in Canada and 108 in the United States. The company maintains intellectual property including registered trademarks for Rumble, Rumble Cloud, Rumble Premium, Rumble Studio, and related brands, along with proprietary technology powering its platforms. In November 2025, Rumble entered into a business combination agreement with Northern Data AG to augment its cloud infrastructure with approximately 22,400 Nvidia GPUs and globally distributed data center locations, with the transaction expected to close in the second quarter of 2026.
