Founded in 1985 as what the company believes was the first direct-to-consumer term life insurance exchange platform in the United States, SelectQuote has evolved into a diversified financial services distributor serving millions of consumers across multiple product categories.
The company operates through three primary insurance distribution segments—Senior, Life, and Auto & Home—alongside a growing Healthcare Services business. The Senior segment, launched in 2010, provides comparison shopping for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans, prescription drug coverage, and ancillary products like dental, vision, and hearing plans. The Life segment distributes term life, final expense, and critical illness insurance products. Auto & Home offers homeowners, auto, dwelling fire, and related coverage. In fiscal year 2026, SelectQuote sold over 635,000 Senior policies and produced more than $200 million in new premium across Life and Auto & Home divisions. SelectRx reached over 109,000 active members as of June 30, 2026.
