The company operates two reportable segments: local media and tennis. The local media segment represents the core business, comprising 179 television stations across 81 markets that broadcast 656 channels. These stations include affiliations with major networks such as FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC, the CW, and MyNetworkTV, along with owned networks including The Nest, Comet, CHARGE!, and ROAR. Sinclair is one of the nation's largest producers of local news, generating more than 2,300 hours of weekly news programming across 106 stations in 69 markets. The local media segment derives revenue primarily from advertising sales and distribution fees from multi-channel video programming distributors and over-the-top platforms.
The tennis segment operates Tennis Channel, a cable network featuring professional tennis tournaments and lifestyle programming, along with streaming services and digital platforms including Tennis.com. This segment generates revenue through distribution fees and advertising sales.
