The company specializes in the development and commercialization of next-generation battery materials, components, and energy storage solutions designed to enhance the performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness of lithium-ion and emerging battery technologies. Solidion's core product portfolio encompasses high-performance silicon-rich anode materials, solid-state battery technology, and fire-retardant electrolytes. The company has developed proprietary innovations including graphene-enabled batteries, elastomer-protected electrodes, quasi-solid and solid-state electrolytes, and biochar-derived anode materials. A significant achievement includes the successful development of a high-energy cylindrical cell achieving 305 Wh/kg energy density, substantially higher than conventional lithium-ion batteries which typically range between 240 and 260 Wh/kg.
