The company provides comprehensive financial services to retail and commercial customers across the Seattle Metropolitan Statistical Area, including King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties, as well as Clallam and Jefferson counties on Washington's North Olympic Peninsula.
The company's primary business involves attracting retail and commercial deposits and deploying those funds through a diversified loan portfolio. As of December 31, 2025, Sound Financial Bancorp maintained total consolidated assets of $1.1 billion, including $905.5 million in loans held-for-portfolio and $948.9 million in deposits. The loan portfolio reflects a balanced approach across multiple segments: one-to-four family residential mortgages represent 28.1 percent of loans, commercial and multifamily real estate comprises 45.1 percent, consumer loans account for 16.1 percent, construction and land loans represent 5.5 percent, and commercial business loans constitute 1.7 percent.
