Surgery Partners, Inc. (Nasdaq: SGRY) owns and operates a U.S. network of surgical facilities and related services, serving patients, physicians, health care systems and payors. Its facilities provide primarily scheduled, non-emergency procedures across specialties including orthopedics, pain management, ophthalmology, gastroenterology and general surgery. The company also provides facility management and operational services, including support for contracting with private insurance payors. It operates one reportable segment, Surgical Facilities, which includes ambulatory surgery centers, surgical hospitals, anesthesia services, urgent care facilities and multi-specialty physician practices. As of December 31, 2025, the network comprised 176 surgical facilities—157 ambulatory surgery centers and 19 licensed surgical hospitals—and the company had approximately 16,000 employees. Patient services at its surgical facilities generated approximately $3.2 billion in revenue in 2025. Surgery Partners operates facilities through partnerships with physicians, physician groups and health care systems, and holds majority ownership in some facilities while managing others.
