What TACTILE SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY INC does

In the company’s own words

Tactile Systems Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: TCMD) is a medical technology company focused on developing and providing innovative medical devices for the treatment of underserved chronic diseases. The company operates through two primary business segments: lymphedema and airway clearance therapy products.

The lymphedema portfolio represents the core of Tactile's business, generating approximately 84 percent of revenue. The company's flagship products include the Flexitouch Plus system, a programmable advanced pneumatic compression device designed to stimulate the lymphatic system and treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency, phlebolymphedema, and lipedema. The company also offers the Entre Plus system, a basic pneumatic compression device, and Nimbl, a next-generation pneumatic compression platform that received FDA clearance in June 2024 and launched commercially in October 2024 for upper extremity lymphedema and February 2025 for lower extremity lymphedema. These products are supported by Kylee, a free mobile application that enables patients to track symptoms and treatment progress while sharing data with healthcare providers.

The airway clearance segment, representing approximately 16 percent of revenue, centers on the AffloVest product line, acquired in September 2021. AffloVest is a portable, battery-powered, wearable vest providing high-frequency chest wall oscillation therapy for patients with chronic respiratory conditions such as bronchiectasis and neuromuscular disorders.

Tactile employs a direct-to-patient and provider model for lymphedema products, managing insurance claims and delivering solutions directly to patients, while utilizing a durable medical equipment distribution model for respiratory products. The company maintains an accredited provider status with Medicare, the Veterans Administration, private payers, and certain Medicaid programs, with contracted or enrolled in-network status covering over 278 million lives in the United States.

As of December 31, 2025, the company employed approximately 332 specialists and account managers across its lymphedema and respiratory divisions. The company generated revenue of $329.5 million in fiscal year 2025 and has cumulatively served over 635,000 patients since product launch. Tactile's competitive advantages include its proprietary sequential pneumatic compression technology, extensive clinical evidence supporting product efficacy, established reimbursement infrastructure, and direct relationships with clinicians and payers.
